Was the U.S right or wrong to drop the atomic bomb on Japan ? Give a brief summary

Answers

Answer:

yes US is right to drop the atomic bomb on Japan

I think that they were wrong to- yes, it was in the middle of a war, but Japan weren’t majorly involved in the war like the UK, France, and Russia were. Japan wasn’t a major place for producing ammunition either, so all the bomb did was cause mass fatalities- most of which weren’t even soldiers, but ordinary, innocent citizens. In the end, the atomic bomb was one of the reasons Japan surrendered, and was one of the contributing factors how the Allies won the Second World War, so there’s two viewpoints. You could say they were right to drop the bomb, because it affected the war and actually led to them winning it, or you could say no, as it wasn’t entirely justified, and Japan wasn’t really a hotspot for war activity anyway, so it could have been slightly pointless.

Northwest Ordinance of 1787.

Explanation:

The Northwest Ordinance was an act passed on July 13, 1787.  This law created the Northwest Territory, in the current Midwest region. In addition, this law established the principle by which all the territories annexed to the United States would be incorporated as new territories that, if they met the required population parameters, could apply to be new states of the nation, instead of joining any of the 13 original states of the country. In this way, this law guaranteed that new states were incorporated into the Union as the country began to expand.

which excpert from The Land, Part 4 is an example of direct characterization of Mitchell?

Answers

The correct answer is C. I asked him if Mitchell could go with us. "He's right good with horses now," I said. "He's gentle with them, and they trust him."

Explanation:

Direct characterization can be identified because characters are described through adjectives or precise details that let you known how a character is. This does not occur in indirect characterization that implies presenting the words and actions of the character to indirectly show the personality of the character.

Direct characterization occurs in the third excerpt because Mitchell is described as "gentle"; also, this occurs in the detail "He's good with horses now" because these show the personality of Mitchell and his abilities with horses. Also, in other options, Mitchell's personality is presented through his actions or words, which is indirect characterization.

Answers

A series of events led to the attack on Pearl Harbor. War between Japan and the United States had been a possibility that each nations military forces planned for in the 1920s, though real tension did not begin until the 1931 invasion of Manchuria by japan.

Japan attacked the US at Pearl Harbor in an effort to  eliminate the US as a threat in the Pacific. Thus, the second option is the correct answer.

Why did Japan attack US at Pearl Harbor?

Japan planned the attack as a preventive measure. Its goal was to keep the United States Pacific Fleet from interfering with its planned military operations in Southeast Asia against British, Dutch, and American overseas territories.

On December 7, 1941, the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service launched a surprise military strike against the United States against the naval base at Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Territory of Hawaii.

The United States was a neutral country at the time, but the attack prompted the country's formal entry into World War II the following day. During the attack, the Japanese military leadership referred to it as the Hawaii Operation, Operation AI, and Operation Z.

Therefore, to eliminate the US as a threat in the Pacific, Japan attacked the US at Pearl Harbor.

Answer:

Under the Johnson administration, the federal did not provide assistance to local governments that wanted to restrict voting. So, the correct option is B.

What is restrict voting?

A law that makes it harder for people to cast ballots is referred to as a "voting restriction" or a "restrictive voting law." Usually, those who employ this terminology in opposition to such laws are those who support voting rights. It is more likely that proponents of the laws that are in contention in the debate over voting rights will simply refer to them as "election laws."

Plurality In multi-winner elections, block voting, often referred to as popular vote voting, block vote, or block voting (BV), is indeed a non-proportional voting mechanism for choosing representatives. Each voter is allowed to cast as many ballots as there are open seats. Under the Johnson administration, the federal did not provide assistance to local governments that wanted to restrict voting.
