Why do animals come into the cities?

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

As cities and farms occupy more of the world's land, wilderness shrinks, forcing wild animals into cities for food. Our garbage cans and sewers are like all-you-can-eat restaurants to them.

Explanation:

Answer 2

Answer:

Animals have been going into cities mainly because of habitat loss. The more we destroy forests and different animal habitats the more animals might go into cities. For example, red foxes. You´d think that red foxes would live in forests and when their habitat is destroyed they would try to find a new forest, but they have been coming into cities and relying on trash for a food source. Also recently more animals have been coming into cities during shut down from the pandemic. They have seen less busy cities and decided to explore more.

To summarize it all, we have been building more cities, towns, and farms taking the wilderness away from animals. Shrinking their homes, forcing them to move into cities where they depend on our trash for food.

Create a story, any story, it can be something that you imagine. Your story should have at least 30 sentences: 10 -simple sentences, 10, compound sentences, and 10 compound complex.

Answers

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Here is the story. We give you enough ideas and sentences so you can add your own.

We are in mid-March, and most Athletic teams in college football are about to begin their spring practice period. Some teams in the South started in February.

Although we are still living n Pandemic times, most colleges have taken proper precautions to have a "more normal" day-to-day living on campus.

And that is good. Getting back to normal makes people feel good.

Personal contact is necessary. We are humans and are social creatures.

So after a good and intense winter period of working at the gym, teams are ready to start practicing in the field.

Each football team has 15 formal practices on the field. The NCCA, which is the official league at the college level, limits the number of practices held by each team because it is interested in the safety of the players. Furthermore, they are students first, athletes second. So their priority is to take of academics first.

Of those 15 above-mentioned practices, not all of them are in full pads.

No. Just half of them are, and not all of them allow full contact. Again. It is for the protection and safety of the players.

At the end of this spring practice period, the team hosts a scrimmage. It is an open-door scrimmage in its stadium on campus. Fans, students, and media are welcome to attend. This is the way teams close their preparation period before summer. That is the reason why this scrimmage or Spring Game is so important. Coaches evaluate their players based on their performance on game day.

For fans and students, this scrimmage is a traditional festivity. Tickets are free, and before the scrimmage and after it, students and fans organize some parties and activities to support the team spirit on campus, and sponsorships are invited too to have a marketing presence in these activities.

Coaches cannot coach the players in field activities or team periods. NCCA regulations prohibit it. So during the summer, players go back to their homes. The ones that prefer to stay on campus, can lift weights at the gym and do track and field activities on their own.

Meanwhile, coaches spend most of their days recruiting or in the office, watching the film, and grading players' performance. That is the daily routine in June and July. Most of them have their vacation period during these two months, and most of them decide to go to the beach or the mountain to spend some quality time with their families because they know that, once the season starts in September, there are no days off until the end of December if the team makes the play offs or if the team is invited to a Bowl game.

Which choice best describes the overall structure of the author's argument about paying college student athletes?

Answers

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Unfortunately, you forgot to attach the article or the text. You also forgot to include the name of the author or the title of the article.

Without the text, we do not know what is its content. Just you know.

However, trying to offer some help, we can comment on the following.

Recently, authors have divided their opinions about the advantages or disadvantages of paying college student-athletes.

The ones who are in favor of paying athletes argue that schools receive a lot of money due to TV agreements, ticket sales, merchandising, and concessions. That is why they deserve a "slice of the pie."

On the other hand, the authors that disagree and still consider that college athletes are amateurs, support their arguments saying that they are students, and the way they are receiving compensation is through their scholarships. And these authors say that schools invest a lot of money not only in academics but in facilities and equipment to have their athletes ready to compete and win.

The text structure implies the manner in which the text is arranged or sequenced.

What is text structure?

The text structure is simply defined as the way in which the content of a work is organized.

They can be of various types:

Compare-and-contrastProblem-and-solutionCause and effectChronological, etc.

Since the attachment is missing, one cannot deduce for the given content but one chooses to vary on the manner of organization of text's content.

Passage 1

Graphic Novels

Graphic novels became popular in the 1980s. A graphic novel is a type of long novel that combines images and words like a comic book. However, while a comic book tells a story in multiple parts over time, a graphic novel tells the entire story in one book. Graphic novels also have serious themes and amazing artwork. Graphic novels are not necessarily original pieces of work. Popular comic strips are usually redone as graphic novels.
Will Eisner is considered to be one of the first graphic novelists in America. Today, he is known as "the father of the graphic novel." He published his first graphic novel in 1978. The paper quality of the graphic novel is also different from that of comics. After Eisner published his books, the demand for better types of comics increased.

Passage 2

Novels

Novels are fictional works that use words to tell stories. Novels may have a few illustrations, but only to support the text. Reading novels helps improve the imagination of readers because they recreate scenes in their minds as they read the text. Reading novels also helps readers learn new words. Novels are a great form of entertainment for readers.
Graphic novels, on the other hand, are novels that have words but also use images to tell the story. Readers enjoy graphic novels because colorful graphics accompany few words. People who do not enjoy reading dense text may find graphic novels more enjoyable.
Despite the differences, both these mediums of storytelling have continued to flourish.
1
What conclusion can be made after reading both passages?
A.

How does the authors discussion of the descendants of Salem witch trials victims help readers understand the impact of this memorial

Answers

Hello. You did not present the text to which this question refers, which makes it impossible for it to be answered accurately. However, I will help you in the best possible way.

The victims of the salem trials were murdered through an intolerant, abusive and missogenous system, as it allowed innocent women to be accused of witchcraft without any proof and killed in a terrifying way. Some men were also murdered in these courts, showing that injustice and intolerance were above all. As this was a sad event in the USA, we can consider that the descendants of these people have a negative impact on this story, as they understand the suffering and agony that their ancestors had to go through.
