Hook/Set: Getting Started
To begin the lesson, I will ask students if they have heard of any powerful women in history, either in the United States or other countries. I will then introduce the topic of Queen Ahmose-Nefatari and ask if anyone has heard of her or knows anything about her. This will pique students' curiosity and set the stage for the lesson.

In this part of the lesson, I will provide background information on Queen Ahmose-Nefatari. I will cover the following topics:

Her patronage of the arts, including temple construction and the commissioning of beautiful art objects

To illustrate Queen Ahmose-Nefatari's influence, I will show images of the art objects she commissioned, such as jewelry and furniture. I will also show examples of temple reliefs that depict her as a powerful and regal queen. Assessment:
To gauge students' understanding of the lesson, I will ask them to write a brief paragraph summarizing the key points of Queen Ahmose-Nefatari's life and legacy. In Harper Lee’s novel To Kill a Mockingbird, the moment the time comes to start worrying is when Atticus agrees to take on the case of Tom Robinson.
Atticus is aware of the danger he is putting himself and his family in by taking on a case in a racist town like Maycomb, but he goes ahead with it anyway. After Tom is found guilty despite the evidence clearly showing his innocence, the townspeople become even more hostile towards Atticus, his children, and anyone else associated with Tom’s case.
The people of Maycomb start to openly threaten Atticus, and his children are even attacked at school. This is when it becomes clear that it is time to start worrying, as the situation is becoming increasingly dangerous for the Finch family.
