this scene? Explain.

Answers

The Crucible is a tragedy play by Arthur Miller on which a movie was directed. The difference between the scenes in movies and plays is created to show the element of drama.

Who is Tituba?

Tituba is one of the black characters of the story that is an enslaved girl of Kalina nationality and is accused of practicing witchcraft during trials. In the play, it is seen that Tituba is threatened to confess her involvement in witchcraft.

In the movie, she is not threatened but thrashed to admit her involvement to increase the intensity of the drama and to create a greater impact on the audience by showing the discrimination.

Therefore, in the movie, the scenes are different to show the increased drama.

30 points!!!! Feedback on my essay conclusion on To Kill a Mockingbird

While To Kill A Mockingbird addresses many hard-to-face topics, Jem and Scout’s loss of innocence as they mature and learn about society is the main point developed in the story. The novel focuses on Scout’s perspective and realizations about everything that occurs, such as being exposed to the black community at Calpurnia’s church, trying to understand Mr. Raymond’s reasoning for the way he lives, and coming to terms with the normalcy of the outcome of Tom Robinson’s trial. Jem and Scout’s loss of innocence throughout the novel helps add to the gravity of their maturing and fully understanding of the society of the world they live in.

what is the best example of informational text

A. a social studies textbook

B. a science fiction novel

C. a books table of contents

D. a newspapers letters to the editor

Answers

Answer:

A

Explanation:

science fiction is fiction

a table of contents gives you nothing

newspaper letter to an editor gives you no info about anything but the newspaper

Answer:

Hey there! The correct answer is A. a social studies textbook.

---

What is informational text?

Informational text is best referred to as a source of written information that informs the reader about a topic or a set of topics.

Informational text is usually peer-reviewed—meaning the information written in the text has been analyzed for correctness by a qualified professional—and contains many references to further confirm the validity of the text.

In the majority of cases, informative text is nonfictional. The text is validated and is generally accepted as truthful information. Personal beliefs are likely the quickest way to reveal if a source is informative due to the absence of citations or references.

Why is a science fiction novel not an informational text?

An informational text must be nonfiction to be considered informative. While we can inform on fictional topics (this is why science fiction cannot be an informational text), these texts are not truthful. Therefore, a science fiction novel cannot be considered a form of informational text.

Why is a book's table of contents not an informational text?

A table of contents breaks down the order of a text and gives the locations (usually page numbers) of key information or otherwise information that an author or authors want to draw the reader's attention to. While a table of contents is informative, it is not informational text since it is a "snippet" of the informational text.

Why is a newspaper's letters to the editor not an informational text?

A newspaper's letters to the editor are usually written based on personal opinions and biases towards certain topics of discussion. This means that some of this information may not be factually incorrect, but rather fit the writer's beliefs. This classifies a newspaper's letters to the editor as noninformative text.

Therefore, the correct answer is A. a social studies textbook.
