The food source was also limited, causing even more of a lower carrying capacity at around 200 rabbits around the 30th year. Finally during the 30-45 year mark with the cold winters and springs, and during the hot summers, the rabbit population went down even more. The capacity went down because the food was so limited that there was not enough food for the population, eventually leading the rabbit population down at 100 rabbits during the final 45th year.
