Life in Sumerian Times.

Sumeria was the first civilization on planet Earth.

Historians consider that  Sumeria-Mesopotamia was established approximately 6,000 BCE, which means that they settle in the middle of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers 8,000 years ago. That region is modern-day Iraq in the Middle East.

Sumerians developed great agriculture techniques, so the daily life of Sumerians was decided to work in the farm fields growing crops in the fertile soil of the region and controlling the permanent flooding of the rivers.

Sumerians were very religious people that founded important city-states such as Uruk, Lagash, Ur, Kish, Nippur, or Eridu. They worshiped their gods who were very vulnerable deities. Sometimes they supported humans, but other times, according to Sumerian clay tablets written in the cuneiform language, the gods punished humans.

That is why Sumerians built impressive large buildings called Ziguratts to honor and worship their gods.

What were 4 reasons the French Government was in debt?

Answers

Answer:

France became bankrupt due to over expense in wars and luxury

Explanation:

The French Crown's debt was caused by both individual decisions, such as intervention in the American War of Independence and the Seven Years' War, and underlying issues such as an inadequate taxation system. Louis XIV had left France deeply in debt due to 7 years war and American revolution. Bad harvests in the late 1780s sent food prices soaring and brought hunger to the poorer peasants and the city dwellers. Sent France's economy down even more.

How does the US live up to its ideals of freedom, democracy, and equality during the world war 2

Answer:

Explanation:

Well the US never really lived up to its ideals fully. Even today there is a lot of inequality that is deliberately there and many fights to preserve them, but that is a very long subject so I will stick to world war 2.

During the war, many Japanese-Americans were put into camps just because of their race. Black and white soldiers were still not treated equally. And they didn't care about how democratic their enemies were. They were practicing many things that Germany and Japan were for the last 100 years.

What impacts did American settlers have on Native Americans and what were the

Europeans brought many different things with them to the Americas. Europeans brought with them chickens, cows, horses, and pigs. These animals had never been in the New World before the Europeans’ arrival (note: horses had been in North America before the last Ice Age but had migrated off the continent). They also brought fruits and vegetables like bananas, oranges, grapes, onions, peaches, and limes. Many of these fruits and vegetables the Europeans were exposed to during the Crusades. Lastly, Europeans brought grains like rice and wheat to the Americas.

What kind of effect do you think this had on the Native Americans who already lived in the Americas? First, it impacted(changed) their diet. Native Americans started eating these animals and plants as well. Next, they began to rely on some of these animals, like the horse. Native Americans who lived on the Great Plains used the horse for transportation. Native Americans had never ridden a horse before 1492.

These seem like great things, but there were negative impacts as well. Europeans created large plantations to grow the crops, especially rice and sugarcane. European explorers and settlers were usually the nobility, and were used to having servants do work for them

In 1789, food shortages and economic crises led to the outbreak of the French Revolution. King Louis and his queen, Mary-Antoinette, were imprisoned in August 1792, and in September the monarchy was abolished. Marie-Antoinette followed him to the guillotine nine months later.
Basically you would explain how the King and Queen misused their riches while the people of France were in poverty. Because they were the highest level of nobility at the time and they didn’t do everything they could to prevent the poverty they were blamed for the crisis.
