Answers

Answer:

The two statements that best express themes in this story are:

A. Community members determine an individual’s social standing and identity  through their personal judgments.

B. When gossip spreads, a person should defend their reputation, no matter the  consequences.

Explanation:

This question is about the short story "Spunk", by author Zora Neale Hurston. The character Joe Kanty is seen by his community as coward, fearful man. He hasn't had the courage to face and fight Spunk Banks, who is Joe's wife's lover. Spunk walks around the town with Lena - Joe's wife -, proudly, knowing that his strength and courage prevents Joe from doing something.

The story shows how the town's men are quick to judge others. They watch as the affair unveils, and even interfere. Elijah teases Joe about the fact that Spunk has just passed by, taking by the arm Lena into the woods. Clearly, their opinion has a great deal of influence over Joe. Even though he is afraid, he chooses to defend his honor and go after Spunk. He does not have a chance, however. He carries only a blade, while Spunk has a gun. Joe ends up killed.

Still, even though he is dead, Joe does not seem to give up. He comes back - at least that's what Spunk and the other characters believe - to haunt him and take revenge. Eventually, he pushes Spunk onto a cutting saw and kills him. It cost him his life, but Joe is finally respected by the men in town. They now see him as brave. Even Joe's father attends Spunk's wake and stands by the his dead body triumphantly.

Write an exposition about a job or career you would like to have in the future. (please write about a career of doctor.)
BEST ANSWER WILL BE MARKED AS BRAINLIEST.
***URGENT***

Answers

Answer:

I would like to be a medical doctor in future.

Explanation:

I would like to work in the medical field, being a medical doctor has always been my dream. I grew up in a small town in a rural area with a small hospital where my father works as a pediatric doctor. I spent a lot of time in the hospital waiting room, and sometimes I'll be allowed to visit some of the patients. I liked to pretend I was a doctor and ask them questions and luckily for me they went along with me. From there my fascination with the medical career starts.

My friends and I all wanted to be doctors, but as we grew up everyone found their passion lies elsewhere. Everyone except me, the ambition only grew more with me, I have neevr been under any pressure to choose a future career because I've known what I wanted to be since I was 5 years old.

I want to keep an adaptable mindset about my future career, I don't want to confine myslef to one particular branch just yet, the whole medical field fascinates me and if at all I possible want to explore as much of it as I can.

I don't want to work in a city or even a small town, I want to work in places where access to medical care is difficult, I once toyed with the idea of working with Doctors Without Borders, but my options are open.

I am motivated by the challenge of providing medical care to people in very remote areas of the world.

Becoming a medical doctor has always been my dream, and that is what i will be.

Yes - Franklin served on a committee of five people who worked together to write the U.S. Declaration of Independence. No - Franklin really messed with the British during the American Revolution and even put them on blast in political cartoons.

What is presentation?

A presentation is a form of communication in which information, ideas, or thoughts are shared with an audience.

It usually consists of one or more speakers delivering a talk or speech while using visual aids like slides, videos, images, or diagrams to support their message.

Presentations can be made in a variety of settings, including conferences, business meetings, classrooms, and public events. The purpose of a presentation

The statement about Franklin slamming the British in political cartoons is not accurate or appropriate for a school project because it is not respectful or objective toward the British.
